The Case Study Wilen recently performed a simple but statistically significant A/B test to compare the effectiveness of “fresh” data and older data. A client offered personal loans to pre-qualified prospects via direct mail. Some of the offers were delivered promptly after the data was made available by credit bureaus, while some were held back for one month. The response rates were compared a month after that.
