Press Jogger

As a Press Jogger, you will be responsible for bundling/stacking/jogging products off a delivery table and stacking product neatly on a skid or other packaging.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mail bins and skids during Makeready
• Prepare job paper work for each new job pertaining to skids
• Set up delivery area including associated equipment, stackers, strapping equipment
• Inspect printed materials for defects, such as smudges, creases, or color discrepancies, and take corrective action as needed
• Keep work area clean and tidy, including removing waste materials and debris to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
• Communicate effectively with press operators and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Load, remove rolls of paper on press
• Operate basic equipment such ass joggers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently
• Clean press components to maintain web printing press in working order
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Physical stamina and the ability to left and move heavy materials as required
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
• Must have flexibility to work days and nights

Working Conditions

• This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting materials. Work is performed in a noisy and fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
