We’re currently seeking a Junior Operator. You will be trained to Operate Manufacturing Equipment such as Digital Web Press, Die cutter, Folder, Stitcher, and Inserter. No experience necessary. Wilen will provide on the job training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read/review job paperwork for each new job.
- Set up delivery area including associated equipment, stackers, strapping equipment.
- As you are running, inspect finished product for defects, such as smudges, creases, or color discrepancies. Take corrective action or report the defects when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with your Supervisor, Trainer, and other workers on your machine to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Load/remove rolls of paper on machinery as required.
- Operate basic equipment such as joggers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy, including removing waste materials and debris to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
- Other tasks as assigned
MINIUM Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to lift and move containers up to 40 lbs.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
Working Conditions:
This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting materials. Work is performed in a noisy and fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
